The Start of War (開戦, Kaisen) is the seventy-sixth chapter of the Helck manga series.

Summary

Part 1

Vamirio explains to Helck the situation. Helck is relieve and reaffirms that he will be able to complete the task of taking down the Human King. Meanwhile, scout group spots the humans beginning their attack and immediately sends Chewtonius to report to Azudora. Hon then introduces Vamirio and Helck to their ride to the Human Kingdom. It is revealed that their ride is the same animal Helck used during the Showdown race. Helck is happy to meet the creature again and it is revealed that the creature is a sacred creature. Vamirio then tells Piuy that he cannot go.

Part 2

Hyura spots the humans' arrival. Azudora reminds his men of their duty. The Tower Destruction Force continues to search for the tower of the humans. Meanwhile, the Third Extermination Force is fighting human magic casters head on. Vamirio and Helck are ambushed on their way to the Human Capital. However, the two companions manage to easily defeat the humans led by Iron Ball. Rafaed, Mikaros, and the Human King anticipate Vamirio's and Helck's arrival at the Human Castle.
